The Nightingale, my solo debut
How I released and promoted my first solo track, and what the first week brought.

Rafał Paluszek handled the trailer, the artwork and the film, and as always I can't recommend him enough: great work at a fair price, and a big help. With the finished product in hand, the next job was promotion. Every progressive-music group on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, guitar and musician forums, even the Fractal Audio Forum, plus submissions to reviewers, magazines, websites and bloggers...
So, was it worth it? Was it a lot of work? Yes to both. In the first week: 5,000 views on YouTube and dozens of new subscribers, on a young channel with only a handful of videos. For me that's a huge success, and proof that with enough effort you can break through online.
My main advice: believe in yourself and in what you're doing. That, plus the enormous support of my fiancée Madzia, were the two wheels that kept this machine rolling. :)
